I agree completely. Unfortunately, most Tech fans are pessimistic folk with inferiority complexes. Kind of messes with their reasoning abilities.
Flunkout, it occurs to me that most football fans are pessimists. Every now then we get surprised with good times, like UGAG has had this year, but the feeling lurks that it's all smoke and mirrors, and the real team will soon be exposed.
But we Tech fans really do seem to have an inferiority complex along with the pessimism. We love to talk about our former rotten coach, BL, like he's somehow our norm instead of an anomaly in Tech coaching. Lately we've been worshipping GO'L and RF as if we were national champs every year they were here. We didn't even win an outright conference championship with those guys. Now we're determined that our new coach, arguably the best qualified coach we've ever hired, sucks. I think you're right , the negative attitude has its source in an inferiority complex. We just don't have the mental toughness it takes to go through some hard times with a coach and a team.
I'm embarrassed for us.
