Why do they still have 8? That's stupid. Let me know how many Georgia Gs, Alabama As, Auburn AUs, Tennessee UTs, etc. you see floating around. Tech still has 8 GTs.

They're going away from Buzz. Little by little he'll be phased out. When's the last time you saw the school actually use Buzz? Also notice Buzz is nowhere on the rebranding page explanation.

I'm withholding judgement on the colors until I see them in real-word use, but I don't like the updated block letters.

The H, in particular, looks like a capital I pulling a gun on an unarmed capital I. Which, now that I think about it, is on-brand for the Tech campus experience, but still.

I sorta wish they'd left the block letters alone (to match the Tower), and I hope they don't mess with Buzz. That giant black/gold Inflatabuzz that replaced the old Buzz-colored one has always looked like ass.

That didn't show up on the page I pulled up. Huh. For reference I was looking at this. It only showed the interlocking GT.

-edit: Never mind just saw that artwork pdf download. Also if you look at the side pane it shows that GTAA prefers 1,5,7. So they're allowing Buzz but they don't care for it and aren't going to go out of their way to use it.

I've seen blue/gold Buzzes on shirts and stuff before, I'm OK with that, but I hope they don't screw up the actual mascot costume, which is pretty much perfect as-is.
