Tech Kickers

Football coaches don’t really develop kickers. They may put them in pressure situations during practice… but it’s not like Collins would be spending a lot of time critiquing leg path on these guys.

Our coaching staff managed to give a serviceable kicker the yips by trying to tweak his mechanics. They were at least wise enough to stay out of Cimaglia's way so we could at least convert XPs last year.

we've had more blocked FGs and PATs also.
There's no excuse for having this many dismal PKs though. Shouldn't be that tough to lure a glorified soccer player to the Flats. They tend to be brighter than other athletes.

I would like to see data to prove your last sentence. I would think using your head as a weapon to advance the ball would not be good for your cognitive abilities.

It's well known you cant ever field a good kicker when you run the triple option offense.
