We were picked the same way on Goose's first year. I would rather be the underdog than the underachiever.

Yep lawbee, being the underdog is just about always a good thing. I don't know what it's gonna take though for some mainstream media types to realize that Tech football is BACK and has STAYED back for several years now.

Let's hope we sneak up and surprise some folks and get all the luck that Maryland seemed to get last year! It's gonna take more than our fair share of good fortune to win some of those tough road games, and a few toughies at home too.

Geez. 6th place?

I think that UNC is rated WAAAAY to high. They lost too many defensive players for that. They'll be down this year.

Also, MD lost alot of people. They snuck up on everyone last year and the Fridge did his usual great coaching job. But I think we can beat them this year.

Clemson has to replace their entire offensive line and their offensive backfield, including QB. They'll be good, but I think we'll be better.

I do enjoy being an underdog, but I really think people have us rated too low. That's fine. It'll be that much more satisfying when we stick the knife in their back.

I don't know - 6th sounds about right, just after Texas, Miami, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Florida. Heck, if UT and UF beat each other up pretty good, we might even crack the top 5.
