Tech @ UVA Predictions

Brennan Armstrong shreds the GT secondary due to no reliable pressure. Gibbs/Sims/Mason/Smith shred the UVA front seven. Neither defense does much stopping. The difference in the game is early turnovers from Sims. If I had to lay down money in Vegas, I'd take the over without even looking at what it was first.

Kenny Pickett embarrassed the secondary. Brennan Armstrong hasn't just been statistically better than Pickett so far, he's been substantially better statistically and done so against tougher competition. In my head I'm seeing the most air raid against a GT secondary since Matt Ryan became the only person to show up Tenuta at GT.

For GT to have a chance to win there needs to be **ZERO** turnovers. That's a big ask given recent history.

Show your work on Armstrong being significantly better than Picket statistically.

Passing Yards
Pickett: 1,934
Armstrong: 2,824

Total TD
Pickett: 24 (3 rushing)
Armstrong: 22 (3 rushing)

Completion %:
Pickett: 69.8%
Armstrong: 63.8%

Pickett has done that against UMASS, TN, WMU, New Hampshire, GT, and VT.
Armstrong has done that against William & Mary, Illinois, UNC, Wake Forest, Miami, Louisville, and Duke.

So Armstrong has thrown for nearly 1,000 more yards against much stiffer competition and with much less to work with in the WR area than Pickett.

There are Armstrong's 6 picks to Pickett's 1 to consider. Also a better argument would be made with per game or per pass yards than just a total when they've played a different number of games.

The stiffer competition part may remain to be seen besides Wake...
