Tech vs. Notre Dame at Dome?

I'm against it. Make them play us at Bobby Dodd. I don't like neutral site games unless they're traditional (i.e. UT/OU).

Tenuta facing us would be fun to see - his blitzes could shake things up and cause some big turnovers. It could also lead to us busting lots of long plays.

I don't think there would be much neutral about this game. Even with LSU being close it was still probably 70-30 Tech at the Peach Bowl, and South Bend is a lot farther than that. When they were No. 2 preseason they really didn't have much of a presence at BDS, and they sure as hell aren't going to be that hyped again any time soon.

Oh great. Just what I want. Being around the arrogant, condescending, and holier than thou fans that think they invented the game. Bunch of asshole.

This would be great exposure for us. I hope they make it happen.

Yeah but if it is the Chick-fil-a kickoff thing then we get a deal almost as good as Alabama did. We get to play in the Dome on opening weekend in a highly televised event and completely beat the **** out of another team. I say almost as good as Bama's cause ND won't be as highly ranked as Clemson was, even when they are overrated (ND I mean).

I agree. But, my real problem is different. Games like this are becoming more and more prevalent these days, and I think it defeats something really cool about college football. Half the fun of road games is checking out the campus and experiencing the tradition of a different school. With games starting to be played at the dome and apparently Yankee Stadium, I think it ruins this aspect of the game.

We played at Yankee Stadium back in the day.

Why would that be any different that hanging around Ugag fans? Oh yes I forgot. ND fans can read.

Isn't there a fish market near the dome. Man... that Weiss is such a big freaking target to boot. Tempting...very tempting.

On second thought F'em. They want to play us? Let them come to BDS.
