Ted Room Fired

Duke didn't deserve Ted anyway. Hope he lands a good DC job somewhere.
 
The Best to Ted hope he lands on his feet and in a good position else where. Duke is Duke!
 
If Teddy is brought back I will remind everyone to look back at his last few games with George O'l. Teddy went into Prevent Defense and we lost several of the last games, we were leading at the end of the 3rd Qt if memory serves me correctly. I remember someone raising hell at the Dome Lunch just prior to the UGA game that year. George O'l could not dispute the facts, 2 weeks later George and Teddy gone.

When did Duke realize that they had a bad football team? Only after the lost to ND?
 
Of course that does leave Mr. Spencer available for various assistant duties should he not find gainful employment right away...
 
i liked coach roof as an LB coach and recruiter and would like him back
 
Ted Roof was the WORST COORDINATOR WE HAVE EVER HAD AT GEORGIA TECH. How he landed a head coaching gig I have NO IDEA, and I don't want him back on our staff for ANY REASON.
 
Maybe Duke will interview Gailey.

he was a good LB coach, hates UGA, is a good recruiter, and GT great

YES!!! I know Glenn would love to continue working with Ted but that ride may be over. Ultimately, my dream would be to have both back on GT sidelines(as position coaches) under Randy Edsall. That said if we could get coach Spencer at any cost, by all means I hope it happens! Someone needs to anchor the new staff with serious local ties and serious GT ties.

I will remind you once again it was not Ted's defense REPEAT it was NOT Ted's defense. George directed him on what to do.

Y'all don't like Ted that's fine but get your friggin comments right. Yes he was a teammate and a brother and I will defend him.

Now you have people of here wishing him luck, bunch a damn hypocrites if you ask me.
 
Coach Roof is part of the GT football family, we dont exactly like hearing his name being drug through the mud

If you say so, boss, I'll buy it, but if so that's a HUUUUGE mark against O'Leary, on the order of Chan retaining play-calling duties, maybe worse.

The GT defense in 1999 was the worst defense in the history of college sports. The GT defense in 2000 wasn't much better.

Ted Roof's defenses were about a hundred times worse than Nix's offenses. At least Nix tried to adjust to what the other guy was doing. Roof just called the same 3 plays all day long and prayed the other team forgot which 3 plays were schooling him.
