Ten Best Opening Week Games

App State vs Georgia made the list though. I don't care, the list is only coming out in this ungodly time of year because the rest of the schedules have been released. In related news, based MAC will not play a single Saturday game in the entire month of November.

Hard to feel disrespected with a list as ridiculous as that one. I'd honestly have WVU/VT higher at #2. They both had big seasons last year, play in a neutral DC site that is probably already sold out, and they HATE eachother. Meanwhile Michigan/UF is just a name recognition game between two teams that might finish unranked next season. Think it would be hard not to put GT/UT in the Top 5 or 6 objectively. Probably behind A&M/UCLA and ahead of LSU/BYU.

And for those hating on the UGA/App State inclusion...link

uga - app. state is probably a good pick for #10 considering the upset potential, but some of the other picks, woah...

Lot of question marks swirling around UGAs best DL Thompson too. He withdrew from classes for the rest of the semester this week supposedly for a medical issue after cops found him wandering around incoherent and rushed him to the hospital. He was a top 5 overall recruit a few years ago. Hopefully he's okay b/c he's a 1st rounder if he stays healthy, but if he's not that's gonna be a blow to them.

MM bulldozed through him on at least one run last year. Mills will be able to do the same, if he does play this fall.

Since we play on Monday, surely this guy considers us Week 2. No one in their right mind puts Temple, Tulsa and App State games ahead of Tech-Tennessee.
