Temple at Notre Dame... that's just insulting.

I'm looking forward to the play by play "Gus keeps his job" probability chart from ESPN.
Lot of question marks swirling around UGAs best DL Thompson too. He withdrew from classes for the rest of the semester this week supposedly for a medical issue after cops found him wandering around incoherent and rushed him to the hospital. He was a top 5 overall recruit a few years ago. Hopefully he's okay b/c he's a 1st rounder if he stays healthy, but if he's not that's gonna be a blow to them.
The beating Louisville will put on Purdue is going to be merciless. I am going to enjoy the hell out of that game.Louisville at Purdue. Jeff Brohm of "how the hell does Western Kentucky always score so many points" fame takes the helm at a school which just last year had transfer quarterbacks starting at LSU and UF. On the other side of the field, Lamar Jackson. Fireworks, people.

Played in Helena?Shouldn't it be Troy vs Athens?
Games not on the list that I'd consider:
Portland State. The Vikings have two games lined up for week one, both against FBS foes. BYU (which also has two week 1 games) on Aug 26, then Oregon State on Sep 2. Portland State opened the 2015 campaign with an upset win over Washington State, and Oregon State recently dropped a match to Eastern Washington while the Beavers were ranked in the top 25. Call it a double header, root for the little guy, sounds top 10 to me.
Alabama A&M vs UAB. Welcome back, Blazers! The country's favorite underdogs re-inaugural game, and against another Alabama team, too.

California at North Carolina. Yes, this isn't on that list.
Southeast Missouri State at Kansas. This stands to be the highest probability FCS upset over a "power" school. More egg on the Big Texas' face for me, please.
Eastern Washington at Texas Tech. EWU lived by the sword last year, never scoring fewer than 31 points, and scoring more than 40 points in a game 8 times, including a 44 point performance against the formidable NDSU. Texas Tech seems to like that approach as well and to further handicap themselves, decline to play defense. This potential barn burner could come down to the fourth quarter.
Georgia Southern at Auburn. Auburn will likely win, but Gus Malzahn could just as likely be fired at halftime. I'm looking forward to the play by play "Gus keeps his job" probability chart from ESPN.
South Alabama at Ole Miss. USA stunned Mississippi State last year by a point, and they get to take on that other Mississippi team this year, which isn't looking too focused right now.
South Carolina vs NCST. All SEC vs ACC games are of national importance and therefor top 10 candidates.
Vanderbilt at MTSU. Before Vandy wins 6 games in the SEC east, will it do us all the favor of losing this one? MTSU will be looking to avenge its disaster of a loss to Vanderbilt last year, in which it outgained the commodores by 150 yards and still lost by 3 touchdowns. Very high potential here for an "upset". Put that in quotes because it wouldn't surprise me to see MTSU favored.
App St vs ugag on the list is somebody's way of saying "Upset!"
I guess we have done just so-so in big opening games.
vs VT - lightning cancellation
vs n.d. - azzholes (1st game right?) the ccg game. Also 1974, the first ever Monday night college game ever. They beat us bad.
vs PSU - raped us
vs BYU - 1 and 1? (again 1st game?)
vs aubie - Great win there (sigh, 1st game?)
vs Arizona (#1rank) - 0-2 I think
vs bama - 2 - 2? Not bad at all
vs Tenn 1972 - waxed us
Think this is somewhat close to correct. Some good / some bad.
What did I just read?
Beta nerd self loathing Tech fan inner dialogue, straight from the writhing subconscious. Brutal stuff.
