Amazing that after 4 or 5 years of consecutive top 10 recruiting classes with a ton of 5 stars, they still lose to Appy State. Since 2019, Appy State has not had a recruiting class ranked better than 78. Just goes to show that under the best of circumstances with near unlimited resources there are no guarantees. Is Jimbo just a clown?

My FSU friend absolutely blames Jimbo for allowing the program to go derelict. He managed to grab Jameis, and win one, but that's it. He dropped the ball from the intensity and recruiting of the Bowden teams

Most of A&M's big haul class are true freshman, so the team is young. That being said, Fisher pops off and brings alot of unnecessary flak to his team. A&M was dumb enough to throw such astronomical money at him they are now stuck with a middling, average at best coach. He is so arrogant he wants to run an antiquated, slow it down offense he can't seem to turn things over to a decent offensive co-ordinator to take advantage of the talent. They will always be average, and average won't cut it with a long term multi-million contract at 9.5M per year. What stupidity to sign these coaches on to such overpay.

I’ve heard similar sentiments from other FSU fans

When he started having marital problems and started going at it with the athletic department, he basically just phoned it in.

Forgot all about the wife banging that player or whatever was going on.

So teams with avg 80 recruiting ranking, $900K salary coach and without Big10 or SEC money can beat ranked SEC teams?

Actually when Jimbo took over at A&M it was the second biggest transition ever in college football.
