Amazing that after 4 or 5 years of consecutive top 10 recruiting classes with a ton of 5 stars, they still lose to Appy State. Since 2019, Appy State has not had a recruiting class ranked better than 78. Just goes to show that under the best of circumstances with near unlimited resources there are no guarantees. Is Jimbo just a clown?

FSU fans just want somebody to blame. Fisher rebuilt them after Bowden hung on way too long. Fisher’s “going at it” with the AA was basically him asking them to fund the team to a level expected for a factory. But they expected Top 5 teams with only Top 25 commitment. That’s why they still suck.

This was a bad loss for sure. He’s still 35-15 playing in a ridiculously stacked division. I’d give him a few years to see the ridiculous talent they have come of age. But agree that he needs to hand over the reins on offense.

A lot of truth in this. Most of his issues were with how the boosters were run, and with the ridiculously incompetent Athletic Director. It’s ironic that it took him and Taggart being gone for them to realize they needed to spend mega millions to compete.
