Thank you Chan

+3

I talked to many of the GT staff, coaches, and players Saturday night that were thankful for Chan building team unity amongst the players (they are very tight..probably because it is a high character group) and bringing in great athletes.

Paul Johnson is taking it to the next level.

There is simply no reason to trash Chan.

We are fortunate to have Ross, O'Leary, Gailey, and now Johnson to make sure GT has a winning program year in and year out.

Now...who was that guy in the mid-90's that tried to tear it down? :fingersx:

Good post hiver, without Chan and his recruiting especially the class 2 years ago (Gt's best ever) with Dwyer, Nesbitt, Burnett exct. we would not have acheived the 9 win season we have had this year nor hopefully the ACC championships we get the next 2 years.

Chan Gailey didn't run the program into the ground. In fact, I honestly believe that we would have always been a bowl team under Gailey. The problem is, we would never be much more than that and would always be considered an afterthought on the national stage.

Yessirreee... 0.333 in mediocre bowls. What's the point in bowling if all you do is go get beat in bumble-f**k Idaho?
