He grinned, and said you go in there in the locker room and Pray...

I mean, I hate to be sexist, but all these women reporters are silly, It's ridiculous, call me Old School, I'm sorry...How bout that clueless ACC beat writer Heather D. Then there was that ridiculous lady reporter that approched ole Richt at halftime of the Alabama game, she asked some ridiculous question, and i forgot what richt said but it was a sarcastic remark back to her, I can't stand richt, but I can see the frustration he had and I agree, get these ridiculous women off the air, put someone on air that knows football, a former player or coach, they have better insight than these women that don't have a clue.
 
Heather D. is pretty good actually. The problem with the sideline vixens is that they are hired for their looks, not their knowledge. If you hired them for their knowledge, they wouldn't be nearly as good looking, because, let's face it, most people aren't that good looking. They just want eye-candy for the male audience to look at.

While that sounds plausible, I don't think it's really the case. Most of the sideline reporters don't look that great. Just look at Holly Rowe.

I agree....Fox News has brought on the chicks and show legs and I guess it brings a bigger audience..But this is freakin football...Let em report on badminton or water polo...:laugher:

I agree wholeheartedy but you'll have to fire these dumbass production execs first. I don't mind some T&A, I'd like to see more of it, but these fratboys that are in charge of my viewing options don't know what they're doing. Just bring Keith Jackson back and I'll fergit all about it.
 
The original post is ridiculous. There are twice as many terrible male sports journalists and dumb questions from male sideline reporters.
 
I agree....its insane. I would much rather look and listen at/to Jerry Punch or Doc Walker on the sidelines instead of Erin Andrews.

Yeah! And there are really 3 times as many men who drive around with their cell phone glued to their face as females, too!

In fairness to her, she's pretty good with her questions.
 
When was the last time anything of substance ever came from a sideline interview? Its worthless. I can't believe people try to turn it into a social issue.

99% of the time it goes like this:

"Coach what happened out there?"
"Uh we got to run the ball and stop the run. Uh, we're going in to make some adjustments."
"Good luck next half."
"Thanks."

My wife and I STILL do Eric Dickerson impersonations. I miss Eric. He was entertaining!

I guess Craig James made out better in the end.

I never really heard. Dickerson and James were pretty much at the end of SMU football prior to NCAA death penalty. I never heard if the two of them were involved.

What do y'all think of the Clemson coach calling out the Escalades being driven by former recruits that went to the SEC?

IIRC both were implicated and James may have been more so than Dick.
