That is the most funny thing I've heard

I agree....its insane. I would much rather look and listen at/to Jerry Punch or Doc Walker on the sidelines instead of Erin Andrews.

Yeah, I would much rather look at her too, than some man, BUT, just not while watching Football and listening to her speak about football, in which she absolutely knows nothing about. :wow:

Yeah! And there are really 3 times as many men who drive around with their cell phone glued to their face as females, too!

Anybody ever notice that she is fixing to walk right into that ladder in front of her? ^^^

I believe she was in the final stages of an R&D project that was testing the effectiveness of frontal "airbag" safety at sporting events.

I offered my personal help with the project, but she told me that she'd rather ogle me from a distance. :laugher:

That's your opinion, I guess. Too bad it's wrong.

EA probably does the best and most-thorough job of research for her assignments of anyone currently doing regular sideline/courtside gigs on a national network. She probably does a bit better with hoops than football, but she's still leagues better than just about everyone else out there.

Agreed, and I really don't think shes very attractive either. I'd rather we do away with the sideline/courtside crap all together, and for that matter I'd be happy if we could get a no commentators just crowd noise option but in lieu of those at least have relatively competent people like her.

Let's face it. The sideline interviews are just an excuse to put a girl on camera. Maybe they think the coaches will be more cooperative with a lady "reporter" than some dweeb with a microphone. These interviews never seem to add much to the analysis, because the coach wants to get off the field and prepare for the second half. It would be better if the TV cameras just looked up cheerleader skirts and tried to get a flash from the crowd.

I always like when the coaches are clearly flirting with them. The most obvious example I've ever seen is Bo Ryan at Wisconsin.

IIRC both were implicated and James may have been more so than Dick.

James was involved. What I can't understand is how is able to make a living as a CFB analyst? Pete Rose is banned from baseball, yet Craig James who received all kinds of cash as part of the biggest scandal ever in college sports is allowed to broadcast games? WTF. I don't get this at all.

Pete Rose is(or should I say remained) banned because he would not admit it for all those years and acted in such a disgraceful way. Had he handled the situation a lot differently, he would not be banned.

There's a great book on the SMU scandal called "A Payroll to Meet".

According to the book, Eric Dickerson took a Camaro from Texas boosters and still signed with SMU. Hilarious!

He might have signed with Texas if they had come up with something a little more classy than a friggin Camaro. How is a redneck dream car going to excite ED?

Hell yeah, Herschel got a Trans Am.

Haha...Burn!!

...that makes me Happy.

Herschel's parents bought him that car. You remember Herschel's parents right, they lived in that tin roof shotgun house. I think they were doing the Dave Ramsey finance plan before anyone knew who Dave Ramsey was.;)

Everybody at SMU was involved. I know a guy who was a backup QB, then DB on those teams and he got money after every game even though he didn't play. It was simply the way they did things.
