That new kicker...

Dumb people say dumb things. The kicker tonight was a walk on. The freshman kicker on schollie strained his quad in camp and hasn't made it back yet.
 
The kicker was awful. But Green lost the game for us. And, some senior DB's were awful.

So a walk on, non-scholly kicker can't kick field goals well? Surprising. So our normal kicker is hurt? How the f does a kicker get hurt? Sliding tackle during off season soccer practice? How long is he out?

I couldn't disagree with this more. Green didn't have a great night, that's for sure but other than the fumble, he only made one bad decision returning a kick out of the endzone. The other one, he along with everybody else in the stadium thought it was going into the endzone and it checked up at the 1, he had no choice but to pick that up late. Ball security he needs to work on, but he had some great blocks out on the edge. Many of those outside plays don't work without his blocking.

At least this makes sense. No way that kicker won the job.

BUT...why the hell wasnt our punter out there handling kicking duties???
 
I wonder if the roughing the kicker on the first PAT effected him at all? We have a few other kickers on the team and honestly I don't see how they could be any worse.

LOL, I ask myself that question at least 10 time a season! I figure the only way out is when the good lord decides it's my time.
 
The kickers competed in practice today and Davis still came out ahead
