CFP should be about the most deserving team, not some beauty pageant.

The CFP has said the “best 4 teams” since the get go. Never said anything about “most deserving” in the criteria. Which is now why the P4 champions (at least for 2 years) get automatic 1-4 seeds.

You don’t see how how a group of suits somewhere telling 18-20 year olds that they didn’t do enough to compete for what had been their lifelong goal to that point could affect the team psyche moving forward? Especially when the decision was unprecedented, controversial and objectively wrong?

What does last year have to do with the product on the field the last 2 weeks? A good amount of starters for FSU were on other teams last year.

FSU looking slow, and inept on both LOS, WR and at QB have nothing to do with the CFP committee picking Bama at #4. Plus, all I’ve heard is they were going to go on a “scorched earth” revenge tour.

Until we beat them and broke them. I think they actually played hard, interested, and decently against us. I think we are pretty dang good. Not good enough to take weeks off, but still good. Maybe the starters are gone but plenty of returning players came back to the team.

I've been pulling for every ACC team OOC for so long that it's hard to wrap my mind around pulling against them.

But they don't give a öööö about the conference, so why should I pull for them OOC? It's much more legitimizing for the future of the ACC if the two schools that want to leave suck on the field.

My brain objectively knows that it’s in my own best interest as a fan of GT for ACC teams to win out of conference. But the heart wants what it wants, and my gut reaction almost always seems to be to enjoy watching VPI or Carolina or Miami or whoever get clowned. FSU and Clemson doubly so (except when they’re playing the Dwags) since they think they’re entitled to more than everybody else.
