Considering how much Waffle House has done for Tech and that the CEO is a tech grad, that would be incredibly stupid to do just because you are butthurt about a cup.

maybe he could tone it down a little? it's like almost every media appearance...It's just more embarrassment for the institute when the used car salesman flashes the waffle show on top of money down,weightlifters, swag walk,area code,airport code, win21 burger king slogan ,juice crew, delusional bragging, and non-football words like high-level, elite ,margin-of-error and deep dive..I guess he should have spent that time trying to learn how to coach over becoming a 3win grand marketer.

Do you not understand how a paid advertisement works? The waffle house cup is nothing like the rest of those you listed. Also, we did the weightlifting thing once or twice that first season, he let the kids have their swag walk in covid year when they were not able to do yellow jacket alley. Every team has a yearly "slogan" and all coaches use buzz words like that. You are just picking every single minute thing you can to bitch about.

It’s pretty clear the issue here is you’re salty. It has nothing to do with the cup, the slogans, etc. You’re just salty. I mean it’s just a cup sitting on a podium, and you’re getting all bent out of shape. Maybe go fishing today or something.
 
I don't have a problem with him carrying around the cup. It's just so ööööing obvious that the damn thing is ALWAYS empty.

In-universe, the cup is always empty because he literally cannot stop drinking it. Waffle House starts refusing to give him coffee, he assumes various disguises in an attempt to buy what he begins referring to as "sweet waho joe tho"
 
Let’s hope this is the very last time the ACC is around to hold media days. Wouldn’t that be outstanding?

I'm surprised waffle house wants to be seen with CGC any longer. Just let him keep the cash but drop the cup.
