THE best week of the year…….

I really think we now have a coach that can be here long term and get us back to winning our fair share of games in this rivalry. Our record against those inbreds since Dodd retired is ridiculous. I think Key is a good recruiter, and we can pickup good talent through the transfer portal. I look for us to win 8-10 games a year on a consistent level and on those years we have special players at key positions to go beyond that. I’m very optimistic about our future … I just wish I was 10 years younger.

I th8nk when CBK learns to better manage a game, the sky is the limit.

Uga contributed nothing to society? I am a yellow jacket all the way. However most of the physicians, attorneys, and judges in our state are uga grads, like it or not.

Natty Lite and Guinness are both beers. One is shit the other is Guinness. I guess someone’s got to let Natty Lite operate on them. THWg.

Well, it’s Sunday and my disposition has not changed, I still hate those m***** f****** to the east. And now those asshats have the opportunity to lose 4 before bowl season. That would be above glorious.

Thus shall it be.

And they are proud of putting a column in the middle of their “arch”

I literally don’t own anything red so I can’t accidentally put it together with black.
Same here, except for a pair of boxers. I smile every time I pull them out of the drawer, knowing I'll be rubbing my crack on the red and black all day long.

My hatred for those sumbitches runs very deep and very long, since 1958 when I was first introduced to Georgia Tech football, by my uncle who loved the Yellow Jackets with all his heart! GT lost their game with UGa, 16-3 at the Cess Pool to a sold out crowd of 50,000 at Sanford Stadium, GT finished the season, 5-4-1 in 1958. Grant Field's seating capacity was almost 45,000 then and every home game was a sellout, thanks to our head coach then, the legendary Bobby Dodd. My uncle made damn sure that I knew what the COFH game was all about and I have carried that same hatred for those in bred's for 66 years now! A win Friday, by the Yellow Jackets would shock the world and CFB, wouldn't it?!? On paper GT probably doesn't have a chance to win or even make the game competitive, but I beg to differ, I believe the Yellow Jackets will make us proud of them Friday!!! By the way................................TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!!!

As many of you know, football fields are typically "crowned" so that water drains better. That means that the is a slope from the middle to the sides of the field. Like a little dome.

That doesn't work for soccer, since it affects the path of the ball when it rolls. In 1996, when the Olympics were in Atlanta, Athens hosted the finals of the Football (Soccer) competition.

In order to accommodate it, the entire field at Sanford Stadium had to be removed, including the Hedges, in order to make the field completely level.

It was glorious to watch, as backhoes and those studded steamrollers tore the field up! Not sure if they got the backhoes from behind Georgia Bar downtown, possibly they did.

They didn't redo the field because it was sloped, they did it because it wasn't large enough.

At least several euro pitches are sloped, so it isn't universal that they are perfectly flat. If it is natural grass, it is going to have at least some slope.

This week is so fricken hard to remain focused at work in. Between turkey day and hatesgiving I'm going to have 0 productivity this week

To make it wide enough, all they had to do was rup out the hedges and laid turf. No, they did it to make it flat as the crown was unacceptable. I was there, listening to the people that decided it, and you are wrong
