The blue jersies caused the loss

First the paper airplanes and now blaming the loss on the blue jerseys, where has our fan base sunk to?

More freaking excuses than my 12 & 15 year olds could combine to give overr petty incidents. I can only imagine what "outsiders" could be thinking when they read the drivel our fan base is putting out there right now.

Recent clinical studies involving laboratory rats in blue and gold uniforms have confirmed that those colors hamper performance. Science doesn't lie.

I'll bet that we also had the wrong cleats.

:laugher: Well at least we have that settled now.

I HATE ALL OF YOU

Nobody really believes the jersey color lost the game. But, superstition in athletics is prevalent. Players do need to wear what they want and feel confident in.

The "blue" argument is simple. Some people like it because they like the way it looks. Others don't like the look. Still others simply like our colors - white and gold, and want to wear gold as the primary color because it is our school color, using navy only for trim.

I think that's why almost everyone loved the throwbacks - a true white and gold uniform. If I were in charge, the gold on that uniform would be our standard color and I would encourage all teams to use that gold and white with navy trim.

I thought this year's uniforms looked awful, matched only by the gold jerseys Pepper came up with in '76.
But, if the players like them, great. I would mix it up more - use the white and gold pants and the three jerseys in varying combinations.

We got our asses kicked.
We weren't ready to play.
We were outcoached.
Derrick Morgan ran some kind of naked bootleg-sweep on fourth down from our 20.
The LSU fans in their endzone were louder than us --my section was dead from the get-go --of course the get-go was an out-of-bounds kickoff.
Our uniforms were butt-ugly --burn 'em --never wear 'em again.
I left at halftime --I never leave at halftime --I suck for leaving at halftime.
I cannot even get up the nerve to settle into my basement den and watch the NYD bowls --I will watch the Falcons and the BCS championship.
I'm trying to forget about this game and take the season as a whole and get some satisfaction out of it --It's not happening that way for me yet.

For gawd sakes, TROY and ARKANSAS hung 31 on these people...very recently. And yes, the unis were absolutely awful. If we have to go blue, go with white pants and white helmets which would bee awsome. And finally, mustard and gold have no similarity whatsoever.

Maybe you people who like Blue Jerseys are closet Duke fans. You probably watch all the Duke games just because they are in blue uniforms. Go decorate your bathroom. The Blue Uniforms suck.

Just wow.

Of course they were, most schools with good school spirit have organization to the game day experience. The majority of our fan base only likes to cheer when it is third down or the band plays the Budweiser song.

I know I am violating the spirit of the thread by being serious, but this post is ignorant if it is serious (the first part, no comment on the fashion advice.)

The team that beat us was not the team that stuggled during the season any more than our team was the same as the one that nearly lost to Gardner-Webb.

If anyone actually watched the games rather than simply reading the results you would know that the new QB was on the verge of coming around. You would also know that LSU defense stopped people but repeatedly kept them alive with penalities after the play. They have been underperforming all year, but the talent was always there.

LSU got a wake-up call during the season. We hit the snooze button after beating UGA.
