The choice of new DC and OC



Mike Bobo is available. We were recruiting his son who is an O-lineman....I kid.

That's a tough break for the Bobo-bird.

Nix took a huge step back at QB, some players at WR didn't quite live up to expectations, this was just a blah season for Aubie, but in the SEC where they pay Top Dollar someone has to take the fall, I guess it's the OC in this case.
 
Nobody good is gonna come be OC for our clown coach just to get fired after one year. That’s the realistic, unfortunate truth.

Not firing GC is just an unbelievably terrible decision, especially now that our players are leaving.

Not true, IMO. I think it’s a great opportunity for an OC or DC wanting to move up the ranks. If either does well then they’d have a realistic shot of replacing Collins.

That's big talk for an Athletic Program that couldn't afford to buy out CBK at 1 years and $600K, we couldn't even afford to repaint the lines on the field for our last 2 Home Games, we looked worse than a 1st Round Class-A matchup in the GHSA FB Playoffs!

So exactly who are we gonna compensate for the risk?

I’m ticked off too, but scores of programs have had similar stretches of 3 or 5 years, and came back just fine.
 
CGC is here for two more years minimum. The bar is set low for next season with our schedule and the 7 year rebuild. Get used to that. Any coordinators that come I will be given 2 year contracts at least.

Which is probably the right move IF we can win 5 next year and not get embarrassed in any games.
