All we have to do is win the rest of our ACC games and we're in.

UNC Leads at 3-0. One loss comes from us, and they still have Pitt, Wake, and NC State to play.

Four teams - GT, Duke, Pitt, and Miami - have two losses.

Leaving out 3-loss UVA and VPISU as winning all our games eliminates them...

Miami still has FSU, Clemson and Pitt to play, but it doesn't matter. They are eliminated with their third loss when we beat them.
Duke has Pitt and Wake.
Pitt has Duke and Miami.

Pitt and Duke have to win out to tie us, but they have to play each other. We own both the head-to-head (2-team tiebreaker) and the (multi-team) winning percentage tiebreaker no matter who is left. Same is true for UNC.

We got this.

I remember when I still had optimism. We fought pretty hard on Thursday to maintain doormat status, so I'm not sure why you're trying to fight against the Geoff-ness.

I felt this way, and started a post about it. But after losing to last-place UVA, I’ll be happy if we finish 6-6 and get a bowl bid.

I’m with you. With UNC having Wake and NCST left we have a puncher’s chance.

Wouldn't we need UNC to lose a second game as well? I.e. we need help

I believe we’d need to win out, beating UNC, and have Wake or NCST beat them. It’s plausible. Wake is the best team in the ACC imo, even better than Clemson.

anyone have any real info about the former Clemson QB - strengths, weaknesses
I dont want to see Gibson on the field again until we are winning going away or something

With Sims out, I’m not very optimistic unless we try another QB or Gibson learned a hard lesson from Thursday night and can miraculously recover

Apparently he sucks. Can’t pass, can’t run.
Geoff was just desperate for anything that could be spun as a win in the portal.

Hopefully he is getting more than 7 first team reps in practice this week.

Your 7-6 ACC champs, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. I wonder if we could be the first 6 loss playoff team.

I’m not sure I believe that. Clemson usually does a pretty good job on big time recruits. Especially at skill positions.

I’m sure that’s the reason he is no longer there, however even not being up to the usual Clemson standard don’t you think he may be better than the quarterback we saw at the Virginia game?
