"We suck at blocking", "Coach needs to take responsibility", "we aren't a good team this year"

Clemson was a nail-biter, but Miami was the wake-up call for GT. But please guys, hold off on the depressing talk until AFTER a loss to UNC... Last year we lost to Virginia 24-17. I remember all the talk that we sucked, we always fumbled (which... we did) and that if we couldn't beat UVA at home, then we wouldn't beat Florida State the next weekend. And after we beat Florida State, we knew we would beat UNC, and after losing to UNC we knew we would drop to Miami and Georgia, and after beating Miami and Georgia, we knew we would beat LSU...

Now we know we have a sub-par team...
 
+1. We had our loss. 11-1 seems like a good season to me!

I am just convinced we just don't have PJ's guys in here yet. We have a great defensive class coming in next year and I hope we get a new DC.

Hopefully, the boys come back out next weekend and play like their hair is on fire and keep it that way through the rest of the season. It's a long season. There's a lot of football left. We can make a mark on this season.

Will we win the ACC, probably not, because I don't see MIA losing two ACC games. Whipple has a great offense there. Better than ours by a long shot at this point.
 
I think everyone, including myself, had to get it out of our system. We expected a lot from this team and haven't seen any of it in the first 3 games.

I am in preparation mode. Watching UNC right now. Can't wait to play 'em. I hope we come out with a vengeance next week and make me and all the other upset people on ST eat our words.
 
I know... I just want to see some life here again! It could be worse, we could have lost to UVA or somebody. The Coastal is the tougher of the two divisions, and we lost to a tough team this year. I have a feeling we'll get it in gear soon

Indeed, we forget that CPJ has only been here one year, he's only had one real recruiting class (2008 was mostly who stuck around after Gailey left plus Jaybo Shaw). We musn't forget that the first time we can reasonable expect big things is 2010. I mean we talk about who we have returning this year but think about next year. Right now we have only 10!! seniors on the roster and 61!!!!! freshman.
 
I equally dislike the 'fantasy ages'. It starts as soon as we beat someone, and the question always is so do we go unbeaten now, do we win etc. etc. now.

I am unhappy about mainly the tone some posts had about out athletes, they need to be more respectful. I am not asking respect for other posters here but for our athletes and coaches who have given us so much last year and even vs. Clemson 4th quarter.

I mellowing a little bit. I guess our defense has been about 10 pts per game worse than last year. But they should improve as the year goes on.

Our O needs to get going. We need to figure out a way to get Dwyer the ball.
