sounds good but will we be able to listen to it on a later date? My son has a baseball game Wednesday night

So if Beebad loses the debate will he be able to delete the content and cover up the crime scene so he doesn't look bad?

I have better things to do than listen to that dipsh!t.

Just out of curiousity's sake, what's the debate about?

I think I'd rather get punched in the balls than listen to the cowardly peebad who literally deletes posts and edits history like a child to prevent looking like the imbecile he is.

AFR ate his friggin lunch. :laugher:

lets see, one person who knows little about football, less about people with absolutely no inside information debating a guy who was on the team

uhmmm, while i would love to see this match-up in the 'squared circle' i cant help but think of this as a debate between a real person and a cartoon character, as in maybe Yosemite Sam or some other cantancerous lying scum-sucking vermin

He wont be able to erase this history! It will be archived and available for the GT fans to hear. You dont want to miss history written in stone!

I'll be surprised if beebad actually steps in the ring. It's just not the MO of the internet bully type.

i offer $100 to peepad to help him pay for his ridiculously named and horriblly run site, if he just lets Matt whack him in the face with nothing larger than his fist... one punch, one check for ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS!

I think you probably shouldn't say "Beebad is the bad guy who is a negativity spreader, and Matt Rhodes is going to give him 'the good word'!" Most people here don't like Beebad, and certainly the way he runs is website is questionable(at best), but you definitely want to try to remain as unbiased as possible as the moderator/host. There are probably a lot of people who will listen to the show that actually agree with Beebad on at least some level, and probably won't take the debate seriously when you are going into it saying that one of the speakers is "the bad guy".

I can't see how this will end well. I would expect Matt will try to conduct a fair and reasoned debate, when all he will get from his opponent is name-calling, Gailey-bashing, hate-spewing rhetoric. If Matt tries to cloud the issue with facts, I expect the volume, not the substance of the discussion to increase dramatically.....something to the tune of "LALALALALALA" coming out of Beebad's mouth. In my mind, I just can't see a rational organized debate with Beebad. If I am wrong, I will be the first to admit it. At least he's not debating Bunger....someone would end up in the hospital, and I don't think it would be Matt.

I'm all for exposing BeeBad as the prick that he is, but I think that the best and most civilized way to do that is with muscle relaxants and aluminum bats.

He is the bad guy because of his name, beebad. I am not the host, Irish-E will be. I had to write something to get people excited, do you have a better intro or slogin for this debate?

Ah, it doesn't read like that. I think the concept of the debate, the participants, and its topic are a good enough idea to sell it on its own, you don't need the "Beebad is the bad guy who is a negativity spreader, and Matt Rhodes is going to give him 'the good word'!" Perhaps you could just say what each person's basic position is and leave it at that. What you have there kind of implies that Beebad(and by extension those who agree with him) isn't really even a Tech fan, saying that Matt Rhodes is going to give him "the good word". You're really saying who has the right opinion before we even get to hear them debate, and that doesn't seem like a good thing for the owner of the host site to do. It's much better to just let people decide for themselves...that is, after all, the point of a debate.

With all due respect to Mr. Machine, I don't know why anyone would give beebad the opportunity to debate. It woud be like letting nedless debate CPH. Ridiculous on many levels, and only justifying the legitimacy of the hatred and bashing. Then again, maybe he will be exposed for what he is -- and maybe that's the point...Mike
