the drunk in the hallway call.. where he wouldnt even mention PJs name because he said he wasnt worthy..

the epitome of the UGA loser.. please tell me someone recorded it.
 
I took such pleasure in that dude being crushed.. I almost feel guilty.. bwahahaha
 
i heard him..what a reject...

guess when you're unemployed you can get drunk and sit in your hallway all night
 
Im thinking that may have been a tech fan.. playing the role of a UGagger.. it was just too precious.

790 talked to a guy that I guess is a regular caller of some sort. He's a Georgia fan and one that apparently lives and dies by the mutts. The first thing he said is "Fellas, I'm down." and it went from there. He said he's been sitting with some bourbon in a hallway since 4:00 on Saturday and he's not sure when he's coming out. Said his wife's been gone since 2:30 Saturday, told her to leave when she said Tech was playing well.

There were all sorts of gems in that call.

Some of they highlights were:

"That coach at FL who I won't name and that Alabama coach Im not going to name and that guy this weekend who isnt worthy to name all snatch on facemasks.. we have a coach that tugs on his headset.. we need to get a coach that snatches on facemasks"

Is it bad that hearing his voice, I associated it with the face of the guy at the top of the page?
 
The UGAG fans will be showing their behinds all week. It will be a pleasure. They are bad enough when they win, but when they lose?....goodness!
 
Missed it. This caller by chance didn't go by the name 'Antonio Romero' did he?
 
I just finished posting this on another thread:

I've met 'Antonio Romero', particularly in the late '90's at a few of the 790 the Zone early remotes where we would hang out and have a beer or two. He and I were a few of the regular callers back in the early days of the station.

He's definitely an UGA fan, but his calls are a bit tounge-in-cheekish --radio-play if you will. My call-in name was 'YellowDawg', and we would on occasion banter back and forth about each other on the air.

I had a lot of fun ribbing him on the air back between '98-'00 for obvious reasons.
