The Georgia Game in 720p HD

What are my options as far as transferring this thing directly from my Mac to my PS3?

There's a program called mkv2vob specifically made for turning mkv files into PS3-readable files. I recommend turning it into a .vob with the x264 codec. Then you can just copy it over to your PS3.

Is this mkv2vob shareware? Don't have any spare change to shell out for it right now.
 
For those interested in a DVD, if I have the chance this weekend I will throw it together in iDVD with chapters and what not... If iDVD supports it, I will also try to provide an alternative audio channel of Wes calling the game (since I have the mp3 of that). I'll post a thread if I do in fact get around to it for those wanting a copy (it'll be free, laber of love sort of thing)

It won't be full 720p but it'll still look sharp.

It's freeware and very easy to use. It's really not that hard to go to google and type in 'mkv2vob' and click on the first, or second, or ..., link. I'm sorry if that was asking too much.

I've always used TVersity to stream to my PS3, I think the newest windows media player versions can also do it...

Enuratique, I would be interested in this as well, especially the alternative audio channel. Even if not this weekend, any weekend you are bored and want to do this, I would want a copy. :) And willing to pay for your time as well, I know labor of love -- but sometimes people should get paid for their labors as well. :)
