tOSU just went up 21-17 on Texas with about 2 mins left. IMO, it looked like Texas let them score b/c they were already in gimmie FG range. This gives Colt McCoy time to put together a drive. I actually thought the Horns would blow tOSU out of the building based on recent Big Televen history.

If Swofford had any balls, he'd quietly start directing attention away from the media's whipping boy, the ACC and direct it to the Big 11 and TOSU.

The ACC needs to get two teams in the NCS next year and has the horses finally to do it in VPI, GT, UNC and FSU (and maybe Miami if they get a real OC). Who is the primary team/conference that we compete with? The Big 11.

The SEC/Big 12 will almost always get two teams in because of bowl support (location) while the ACC is considered an East Coast Conference and who cares about them in Arizona or California. If we are to get two teams in, we'd have to beat out a Big 11 team more than likely.

I wholly agree. But I think Swofford is the weakest conference commissioner out there. What sort of conference commissioner doesn't burn up the phone lines when the networks move the first game between ranked opponents in your conference to the noon spot and highlight teams, on ABC, that have just lost to the ranked teams?

Swofford has encouraged the idea that when Clemson, F$U, and Miami are down, the ACC is down.

VPI, BC, WF, and GT (in that order) have all done more than those clowns over the last three years. Yet, who does the ACC continually promote as it's marquee teams F$U, Miami, Clemson?

Agreed, Swofford needs to give it over to someone who wears pants.
