would be a dream come true for Tech but will never happen. The SEC is sitting pretty with 12 and does not need to add two teams like FSU and Miami to further beat up on each other and kill any chance of getting a team in the Nat'l Championship Game. Tech's only chance of getting back into the SEC is if ARK or Vandy leave. There have been rumors in the past that ARK is a better fit for the Big Eight or that Vandy is a better fit for the ACC, but I think both will stay put. One thing for sure, all UNC and Duke have to do is recruit one other vote on any issue and they can hold the ACC hostage. I think if Tech, FSU, and CLEM can get some committments from a few Big East schools to form a new conference, they should tender their resignation to the ACC immediately. Let UNC & Duke fondle themselves all they want!
