The Tough Hard Truth

I don't think either is a good excuse. There were too many mental errors and people out of position. It's hard for me to tell how fast Miami was or how good Miami was since we played such a crummy, slow, and undisciplined game.

Just about the only thing I give a pass for is Scott Blair's missed kick off the infield dirt--that seems like an excuse one time out.
No one is excusing the play we saw. But fatigue can be a reason for mental errors...like being out of position, jumping offsides, etc. It has to be corrected and we have to play a disciplined style to be successful.
