The Truth

Actually, aside from your usual inanity, Chan should have been cognizant to request a video review of the play. In all of the excitement and crazy of the play and subsequent referee conference and explanation, nobody bothered to check if Burnett was down. I was hollering for Chan to request a review because it looked like his knee was down.

It was clearly a fumble based on the replay I saw on the jumbotron. I would not have wasted a challenge on it.

right so the coaches should make that assumption after every error a player makes, that they don't need to be told and they know how to fix it?

Its a small example of the lack of coaching

ever wonder why tech teams don't improve over a year like UGA's has or VT's has? I have, and I am sure this is one piece of it. We don't exactly have the greatest sideline coaching.

Yeah clapper I agree with 33 here... just because he "knows" (or says he knows, to be more accurate) that he made a mistake, that doesn't mean the coach should just let it go. Perhaps give him a few minutes to cool off if he's hot (which I doubt was the case), but you don't just ignore the issue.

Tell him what he needs to do next time.... and encourage him by letting him he almost made a big play and will finish it next time. This is how kids grow and improve, and maybe why many didn't under CCG. When you're HC you are the coach ALL THE TIME....

Actually you don't agree with ned. He said the coach he didn't see the coach over there in his earhole as soon as he came off the field.

Neither one of you know whether Gailey, or anyone else, said anything to him at any time after that.

And does a college freshman really need to be told to switch the ball to the arm away from the pressure and cover it up anyway? Encourage him? Yes, I agree with that. But you don't know if it happened and ned didn't say anything about that.

Ryan spoke his mind today, like many former players have been wanting to do and have done. Chan to them was not the man and didn't treat the former players the way many would of liked to be treated.
