I had that happen to me last Wednesday. 4 year old battery, never had been dead, just died as I stopped for gas across the street from my office. Got a coworker to come jump it off with his truck after a Honda Civic next to me couldn't provide enough juice. Got it to an auto parts store where it was dead after I turned it off.

Ironically, I was on my way to help my daughter with her battery, which died after about 9 months. Warranty replacement on that one.

Huh? Their OL/RB are below average. Their running game wasn’t great all day. They had their best WR isolated against a backup frosh safety playing press coverage. Even if they pick up the 4th and 1 they might not get a better chance to score than that play right there.

Maybe I can see the argument behind not passing on both downs, but hell if anybody should understand “taking what the defense gives you” it should be Tech fans.

Kerr made a hell of a play. Credit goes to him for winning a matchup that VT coaches would have been drooling over before the game.

Well those only work if you keep them charged, and my truck battery was deader than dead. That little thing wasn't going to work.

Also early in the game VT had a 3rd and 2 and ran the ball twice and ended up going backwards.

I basically never taunt other fans - I try to be gracious in both victory and defeat. But after a few hours of their stupid "key play" thing, and the stupid Hokie chick behind me "correcting" me that "just because he didn't catch the ball doesn't mean it was pass interference" (yeah, but when it's pass interference, it's pass interference), and some shithead kid a few rows in front of us acting cocky, I admit that I also engaged in a bit of key jingling after that pass defense.

Again with the sense of superiority from them. Bitch we outgained you by 150. You had a damn FG bank in. Your offense blows. Cite recruiting ranking all you want, you have 1 guy on offense who could play for us. Then again he can’t go up and get the ball against a backup frosh DB so maybe not. Probably netted more yards on that 4th and 1 incompletion than you would’ve running the ball anyway. Go back to your piece of shit town and jerk off to the next 4* safety you sign - just be sure to finish before he’s getting toasted by the next 2* TE we sign.

All of us where I sit were amazed they went to the endzone on that final fourth down play. Hokies' anger there is understandable.

Also impressed with this tweet from a Hokie player after the Miami loss. Straightforward acceptance of blame.

Yeah I even tried a battery booster pack I have, and tried jumping it from my truck it didn't go, it was about a 5 year old battery, and it's in a vette so those have so much electric things to suck the juice anyway so I knew I needed to swap a new battery in. Got an interstate battery they have a 2 year full replacement and then 5 year pro rated seemed like pretty good deal!
