Funny how Shannon will be fired if he doesn't have as good a season as we had when there isn't much chance of it with a still decently young team as well as two brand new coordinators.

I would think Shannon would have his hand in it too much for Tenuta's liking. That's what got Tenuta out of UNC: messing with his schemes.

There's also the small point of recruiting. I have to think Tenuta's refusal to recruit has kept him from anything higher than his quasi-DC position at ND.
