I'm actually really interested in this game for the purposes of hoping that Georgia continues to unravel. Convince me otherwise, but it seems that this is the situation where Mark Richt always figures out a way to get his team going again and from now until they play us they're going to play lights-out football and get themselves back into the top 15.

More than anything, I want to see Cox throw four interceptions, AJ Green to get shut down and Crompton to figure out what you're supposed to do with the football and for Lane Kiffin to come out after a blowout and say something cruel and insulting about those worthless ****s in the red helmets at the press conference.

But I'm convinced that Georgia is going to, once again, escape a downward spiral and have a decent season.

Just passing time on a slow Friday. Chime in if you like.

No way U(sic)Ga loses to Tennessee. UT's defense is relatively stout but their offense is pathetic, and Crompton is just plain lost. If the mutts play half the defense they played last week this one will be over early.

Is it OK to hope for lightning to strike the press box, and the game to be called in a 3-0 UT win?

That's the only way that UT wins this game. UGAG will roll. They have too many athletes, and UT has no offensive identity at all. Now if UT had a pulse on offense, they would have a chance, but they don't.

I dislike Tenn, but I enjoy Lane Kiffin's antics, so I'll be pulling for the Vols. There's also that little bit of dislike I have for the mutts...

I worried at the beginning of this season that UGA would beat Okie State, then go on a tear and destroy their schedule. I don't see it happening this season. Richt seems to have lost some of his magic. I can't explain why they're as lousy as they are this season, other than God being a good guy. In the past, this game would worry me that it would be the game the mutts get it together and turn the corner, but I don't think that corner is going to be found this year for them. I hope the ax St. Richt for it, and hire someone like the Orgeron.

Richt has lived a charmed life. He's gotten the bounce every year against us up to last year. He's had the fortune of seeing Tubberville, Zook, Fulmer and Gailey all get fired, and seeing both Spurrier and O'Leary leave for greener pastures after his first season. That's 6 coaches gone from your 4 top rivals in 8 seasons. That means he has seen 10 different coaches at Auburn, UT, Florida and GA Tech in his tenure. Pause and think on that awhile.

Really? I feel more confident in Tennessee's chances of beating Georgia than I did about LSU's. I think Tennessee is MUCH better than Georgia on the line. They have a better secondary no question. It is a home game and a big rivalry.

Go Vols! I hope Kiffin gets his first big win against the mutts.

I don't see him turning this season around. They still have Florida (Tebow will be back full strength by then) so that's one near absolute loss. Plus they have Auburn who has been on a rampage so far this year. Then there's that Turkey Day game. I see uga with at least 5 losses at the end of the year. How sweet would that be!

See, that's what I want to believe. But I just can't stop thinking that they'll beat Tennessee and get enough confidence to play better against Florida and get a moral victory, and then win every game until they play us.

But if they do somehow lose tomorrow, yes, I think they will at LEAST have 5 losses. And that doesn't include Vanderbilt and Kentucky who are not pushovers.

okay, Cox throws 2 interceptions to Eric Berry, one of which he turns into a pick-6. I won't say the final score, just that statistic... wait and see...

If Tennessee wins this, they will have to rely on their defense and utilize Crompton for what he is best at, handing the ball to his running back.

This is Berry's breakout game for his Heisman push. He has TWO pick-6s plus he returns a missed FG for a score as well. Tennessee 24 - UGA 17. THWG!

I think he did.
And there's no way we win, we are so bad this year. I'll be at the game but it will be abysmal.

Two words: new offense. Joe Cox is a good QB, but he's not nearly as good as Stafford, and they lost Massaquoi and Moreno. Those are three great players, and the other guys on the team haven't stepped up to take their place. Seems plain as day to me. Lose your NFL star QB and your stud RB, and something is bound to give.

It's not like they suck, they will probably go 8-4 this year.

I am more than glad that Cox and the other people on offense are failing, mainly because their fans were so confident that they'd still be good. Hell, some said that they would be better without them.

I hope they enjoy their 7-5 or worse record.
