Very true. I pretty much listen to 97.1 The River when I listen to the radio at all --the station has very few commercials. I just recently purchased a new truck and have XM radio free for 6 months --I am really enjoying it, especially the 'Deep Tracks' station. Plus, the truck has an input for my iPod, which I listen to every morning and afternoon on my GRTA commute to and from work.

You do know that Ryan Stewart is a GT grad? It's called urban radio. They do a different take that doesn't appeal to everyone's tastes. Personally, I enjoy it. And they have managed to become syndicated around the nation, which means there is a demand for their show. The 'dawghouse" is also a reference to their fraternity - Omega Psi Phi.

I'm glad I didn't have to explain this. Our own fans can be pretty ignorant at times.

Atlanta hasnt had good sports radio since the early 90s when it was 680 and the feed was out of las vegas.. papa joe, crenshaw, ferrell, etc.. the worst show was the local hacks in the morning.. max and morgan..
