The Cards keep getting jobbed by the officials. Pretty poorly called game.
 
Steelers have certainly gotten more calls this game. Ironic that you posted that right at the safety holding call though :p.
 
Yeah, but the refs just came through when the Cardinals needed them.
 
C'mon, refs. We need you again. 49 seconds to go. We gotta hold 'em to a field goal to force overtime.
 
Wow. I am speechless right now. I don't even know what to say about that.
 
Like I said, the last call of the game summed it up. I'm not a fan of either team, but Pittsburg should thank the officials for giving them another Superbowl title.
 
How the hell was that last play not reviewed? It's only THE LAST PLAY OF THE SUPER BOWL!!!!
 
BTW, you should expect nothing less from Terry McAuley. He is a blind hack that has been calling games like this since his days as an ACC official in the mid to late '90s. Disgraceful.
 
Is he the replay official? The replay official is the one who screwed up. I don't understand how you don't stop that and review it. That was not a fumble. Even if it was, it was ridiculously close. I don't see how you don't review that.
 
Another thing to remember is that if it had been overturned, the Cardinals would have gotten an extra 15 yards because of the dead ball foul.
 
That was an incredible game. Those were two evenly matched teams. Either of them could have won that game. Arizona made one more mistake than Pitt (the int at the end of the first half which turned out to be a 10 point turnaround).

Its called the league wants the Steelers to win. This was pretty clear with the record breaking penalty yards against them tonight.
 
You guys are ridiculous. The game wasn't THAT poorly officiated. Hell, I was rooting for the Cards just so that Tech could figuratively beat UGA. (Whisenhunt beats Ward)

That last play was pretty awful, to not even review it. It was pretty much the same play as in the beginning of the second half, which Whisenhunt had to challenge and was overturned.
 
In my opinion, no matter what the outcome was, that last play should of been reviewed, at least for posterity. I mean when you have a close fumble with 5 sec in the Super Bowl, even if your 98% certain it was fumble you can review the play and confirm it.
