Since Stansbury proclaimed he had "his man" and was giving Collins another year, many substantial and negative things have happened, which require his decision to be reversed.

We got embarrassed by a Georgia team that wasn't even up for the game, in front of a red clad crowd in Grant Field.

We are losing assistant coaches that were part of Stansbury's rationale for keeping Collins.

We are losing players that were part of Stansbury's rationale for keeping Collins.

We are losing recruits that were part of Stansbury's rationale for keeping Collins.

Collins has failed to address the biggest weaknesses on the coaching staff.

Collins has failed to address the fans.

So, many of the assistant coaches who can find other jobs know how bad things are now and are leaving.

Many of our players who can find other places to play know how bad things are and are leaving.

Many of our recruits who can find other places to enroll know how bad things are and are not honoring their commitments to come here.

Many of our fans know how bad things are and are not going to continue supporting the program financially or attend games until Collins is gone.

The only people who don't seem to know how bad things are, or who refuse to admit it, are Stsnsbury and Collins.

The rationales for giving Collins another year have completely disintegrated.

If Stansbury can't or won't act on this powerful and daily worsening new state of the football program and end the Collins era, he is not competent to be the Athletic Director at Georgia Tech.

Whatever the cost of starting over right now, it is cheap compared to the cost of keeping Collins another year.

I feel sorry for Stansbury and Collins. This is no reflection on them as people. But, continuing this is not really doing them any good, and it is severely hurting Tech football.

There is almost no hope this will be turned around by Collins in the next year. But, there is a lot of further serious damage that will almost surely be done by keeping him for one more year.

Please write and call asking Tech's President to step in and make the necessary changes, since Stansbury refuses to do so.

It might not do any good to do this. But, how can it hurt to try? This is a serious situation, and it seems to get worse every day.

Well, every time I look at this message board, something else discouraging has happened. Every time I talk to a Tech fan, I hear more of a "giving up" attitude.

Would somebody please give me a reason to feel any realistic hope for this awful situation?

What is the new argument for keeping Collins another year. We will lose more money than we'll save on the buy out, and sometimes desperate coaches make serious mistakes. So, what's the argument for not starting over right now?

People are freaking out because the bad news is hitting all at once instead of being spread out. Yes, things are bad. 3-9 will do that. The bulk of the recruiting class, (including two 4 star DTs, a 4 star QB and 4 star WR) will sign. Transfers will be added and Coach Choice will be replaced with a solid coach. We will field a team that can compete in our awful division next year. I say take a break and see what things look like in a couple of months.

I agree with this. Take a break until September 2023.

On the 13th of May 1940 Chamberlain resigned as prime minister. 13 days later, the British were driven off the continent at Dunkirk. Two weeks later, Italy with one of the largest navies in the world joins forces with Hitler. 11 days after that, France surrenders. Less than two weeks after that the largest air battle in history breaks out in British skies, bringing terror and death to every major British city. It would rage for months while German U boats constricted supply lines to near famine levels, and then just when the British were on the brink of total collapse, planning to defend their shores with the horses and swords they had left...

They won.

Miracles do happen. That's the only case we have.

The British would not have prevailed if they had continued with Chamberlain.
