This game boiled down to four possessions

And Miami didn't play flawless, but they were much more disciplined than us

I'm looking, for a,way to get to 7 wins. Sad part is, Georgia Southern will match us with athletes. Hell, in all fairness they should have beat us two years ago.
Southern is a different team now. We pound them

UNC, VT and Georgia will be tough games but I think they are winnable. We have got to get pressure on Eason, the ööööer could Stafford us. Nothing about UGA really impresses me save Eason's arm.

The rest? öööö 'em.

Why is it that we have 2-4 games like that every year. And most teams barely have 1?

Why do you think most teams barely have one? Beating yourself is the difference between a good team and a great team and there are a lot more good teams than great teams out there.

See Georgia getting two terrible penalties and then not defending a Hail Mary as an example.

Two scoop and scores and two drives stopped dead in tracks because of penalties. One the first scoop and score had the left tackle quit playing with his dick and turned back on the DE, then we take that six off the board. Senseless penalties caused one if not two possible scores. The holding penalty on one of the OL stopped what looked like a,scoring drive..

Just stupid stuff costing us drives and games.

Thing I noticed today is that this offense can and does work when everyone does what they are supposed to do.

Sheesh, maybe we can put it together for next week and get to 4-0

Maybe we can. We did lose 2 back to back in 2014.. ..to worse teams.. ..and still turned it around.

The two scoop and scores were basically the game.

Other than Southern and perhaps the Cadavers, what games will we be favored in? Certainly not VT, UNC, mutts, Puke, or Pitt.

My confidence is a little shaken after our last two games.

Most teams do not wacky plays to the extent of in one week having a player intercept a ball and try to run it out then fumble it back into the end zone for a safety. Then the next have two fumble sixes. Plus numerous other fair catches inside the ten, wasted timeouts due to not getting the play and huddle in time. Boneheaded penalties. Missed blocks. Don't think most average teams have those kinds if troubles.

I guess we just disagree then, I think most average teams do have things like that happen. Again, anecdotal, but I remember watching a Florida player fair catch the ball at the two yard line last week.

Although obviously the two fumble sixes in a row is very rare. Maybe we've had a bad couple of weeks but over the years I think we're just like most other average teams in terms of making mistakes that lose us a couple games a season.
