This is looking like a very bad

Why? Because UNC lost? We're already having this discussion?

The only reason it seems like a bad week is because of the retards who thought UNC would be good just cause their coach is named Butch ****ing Davis.

Clemson losing is not as big a deal, they haven't performed impressively since they played us.
Though if no one in the Atlantic shows up it'll be a 3 man circus with us, VPI and Miami. Hmm, what conference does that sound like, where only a couple teams are actually good? ***Couch**SEC***Cough***

Well let us not forget that Clemson is defined nationally as a perennial underachiever.

And the ACC is defined nationally as a perennial sucky conference. Like it or not we need teams like UNC and Clemson to step up if we want to change that, because they're the teams that have the talent and the media attention to do so, in addition to VT, Miami, and FSU of course.

Honestly, the moment FSU or Miami get into a national title game and dont get blown out, everyone will forget that there are more teams in the ACC. Just ask the Pac-10...

I guess we could make the argument that we (the ACC) just beat each other up all season but then, when you see the humiliating OOC losses our conference suffers every year, then its no wonder nobody takes us seriously.

I waste enough energy caring about our game every week. I can't be bothered to give a **** about how the ACC looks in comparison to other conferences if we're not undefeated. If we win, nothing else matters.

It matters when it comes time for BCS at large invites. There's no chance a 2nd place ACC time would get an at-large. If ACC is perceived as a 2nd tier conf, it's millions $ lost.

A lot of teams in the ACC just aren't playing good football. I don't know if it's coaching or what, but ACC teams look extremely inconsistent and execute poorly a lot of plays, making a lot of unforced errors. There's a good bit of talent in the ACC to go around, but it seems like many coaches are just not making good use of it.

Oh well, beat MSU like we're capable of and things will still be well for us.

Don't lose and 100% we're not 2nd place.

Maybe we ought to have a 10 win season or two before we worry about the conference's ability to attract a second invite.

Since we haven't won 10 games yet, lately, if the conference suddenly did get good enough to warrant a second BCS bid we ain't gettin' it anyway.

We really don't. I understand the argument, and it would apply to a lot of other schools, but GT isn't getting a BCS bid without winning the ACC, and we're not going to national championship game unless we're undefeated.

We can't rely on conference peers to boost our image, it's just not in the cards. We win we get respect, we lose we dont. With GT it's cut and dry. Only media types and SECtards care about conference affiliation, don't fall into the trap.

So who is the team with the best chance to beat Miami now? Clemson? North Carolina? Wake Forest? Virginia?
