This is the worst Tech team since Bill Lewis

Wasn’t there a commonality between us an Auburn?
Not really, our downfall was Ross leaving for the NFL and Homer Rice hiring Bill Lewis instead of O'Leary or Ralph. In addition, Florida State joining the ACC in 92 didn't help either. Auburn's downfall was losing Cam Newton to the NFL and Malzahn leaving to become a HC.

I was disappointed in CPJ blasting players and assistants. I was disappointed in #38 getting beat for a touchdown and then chewing out the safety, #5, for giving no help. Do that when you get back to the sideline. I was disappointed in supposed leaders #75 and #53 mouthing as they left the field with no handshakes. And, I was disappointed #3 could not get any other player to do the Rambling Wreck with him and the band before heading to the locker room. I appreciated that he did what he was supposed to do. This team needs some serious improvement in leadership and attitude.
#3 is Tre Swilling.

Good for Trey. I know these guys are disappointed, even embarrassed. But, the band waits for their handshakes and prayers to end to play the fight song. Win or lose I have seen our teams take the helmets off to sing The Rambling Wreck. It isn’t a bad thing to sing after a loss and remind yourselves you play for something bigger than just yourself. You play for your teammates and for your school. A team can come together and win the next two games and get to even on the season. A group of individuals will not.

Obviously the 2015 team was worse, but I also think 2003 was worse, and I'm not convinced 2005 was much better. Losing 49-21 to a team that has been to 3 consecutive playoffs >>>>> losing 51-7 twice, or getting assblasted by a Ted Roof Duke team. If we end up 3-9 or something then I might change my tune, but I still think we win 4 or 5 more games this year. We're certainly not good, but I don't think we're awful.

UNC beat Pitt yesterday.

UNC is awful. So is Pitt. Do the math.

You’re a moron if you think this is better than 05, a year we beat nationally ranked auburn and #3 Miami. A team with Calvin Johnson and NFL talent all over the defense

That team with Calvin Johnson and NFL talent all over the defense lost 51-7 to our divisional rival and got blown out 38-10 by a 7-5 Utah team. If we're humiliated by losing 49-21 to a playoff team loaded with NFL 1st rounders, then how are we supposed to feel about that?

I also didn't say this is better than 05. What I said was that I didn't think it was that much worse. I think we will prove to be pretty mediocre this year - just like that year and basically every Gailey year but 2006. I also pretty clearly qualified my post by saying that if we end up 3-9 or something then I will change my opinion. Right now I think we end up 6-6 or so.
