we were pissing and moaning about the number of fumbles we had and the number of those we lost!

Just for curiosity sakes, anyone know out here how many fumbles we have LOST in the last 2 games? Get back to me when you look it up unless you know the number from watching the games.

(time for you to think)

DRASTIC improvement from a year ago and just another reason I believe Saturday's game goes a long way in determinig our success or failure this year!!

We did fumble twice, but recovered both times, right? One led to a safety.

Anyone know how many rushing yards we had in each game last year vs. this year?

JSU 2008
349 (484 total)
BC 2008
162 (235 total)
VT 2008
278 (387 total)

AVERAGE 2008 = 263 ypg

vs
JSU 2009
335 (497 total)
Clemson 2009
301 (418 total)
Miami 2009
95 (228 total)

AVERAGE 2009 = 243.67 ypg

Yardage-wise we are 20 ypg worse on offense.

Uh, that was on a punt. We did have one fumble and another fumble was caused by the ground and ended up being ruled not a fumble.

It almost seems like a meltdown from Josh to me. I think CPJ is going to go with Jaybo.

I trust hope he is smarter than that. Jaybo will be killed if our line doesn't play any better.

...Yardage-wise we are 50 ypg better on offense. It's definitely our defense that has taken the biggest hit.

Defensive comparison, yards given up:

2008
JSU: rush- 122, pass- 136, total- 258
BC: 120 - 142 - 262
VT: 199 - 48- 247

2008 avg: 256 ypg

2009
JSU: 98 -193 -291
CU: 125 - 261 - 386
UM: 184 - 270 -454

2009 avg: 377 ypg

note: cajun, for 2008 you picked up BC and VT's rushing and total yard numbers, not GT's:

BC 162 (235 total)
VT 278 (387 total)

We had 270 rushing yards vs. Miami????? I didn't look at the box score but that's much more than I thought.

In our last 5 games, opponents have averaged over 31.4ppg against us. In our last 8 games opponents have averaged 29.5ppg against us. This includes 1AA teams.

Not good.

2009 miami wrong too, he picked miami's numbers.

And let me emphasize this because you didn't notice it I guess, we didn't get even HUNDRED yards rushing against Miami. That's how I knew your numbers were wrong.

That happened last year against GW but that was Booker playing, so with the Nesbitt and crew, Miami was the lowest rushing yards of CPJ's career.
