Oh crap, I guess that means we'll likely get killed in a bowl again if we get paired up against anybody good.

here's hoping there's a big east team out there for us, too.
 
I'll take any win, but hopefully we do end up with at least one win this year where the fanbase as a whole is actually pretty happy afterwards. It seems like we're all just a bunch of Debbie Downers.

I thought the same thing - this is just like the game we lost to VPI last year that ended up costing us the division, only we get the tight win. (We even got the penalty help like VPI ...)

Not saying we will be up there again (not without better decisions and inside blocking on offense) ...

No sh%t. At what point did VaTech apply for and get granted IP rights for this "kind" of win. Talk about your sports cliches that are full of crap. If they patented it, I hope we infringe 12 more times this year.

I am also very tired of hearing how Clem&sons scored 24 or 27 unanswered points tonight. We answered them, you stoopid m-f'ers. It's called a win b/c the points were indeed answered. Sheesh.

I think we all expected a rout after the first quarter and was embarrassed because we were on national tv and almost lost. We are not always going to win pretty. Yes, we didn't play to our capabilities but CU made adjustments and had a stout D tonight. I also thought their QB had a stronger arm than our DB's expected.

I have stated several times here that we will need to improve on our passing game. That surely has not changed after tonight.

We're not debbie downers, our offense has played like crap two games in a row. If we play an actually good game we will be happy, or if we beat U[sic]GA in this way we'll also be happy. But there's no unbridled happiness tonight(at least not after the initial hour of celebration.)

Still, have to be happy tonight. Go Jackets!!!
 
Was the only person who thought our offense was going to be only mediocre the first 3 or 4 games, and then they will start humming?

If we blew Clemson out tonight the team gets big heads and doesn't practice as hard and feels "invincible".
 
VT doesn't get 400 yds offense and throw 2 picks.

VT gets 250 yds offense and throws no picks.

No, I was thinking if we are going to be like VT the Big East champ is probably the one team we could beat in a BCS game, you know, like that's the only one VT has beaten since they started representing the conference in the BCS every other year.
