If we were to hire Johnson I'd support him like I do any Tech coach. Maybe he's a great coach, but all I see is a decent team playing a weak schedule. Navy recruits better than the other service academies for whatever reason and he is able to use his unusual offense to pound most of the teams they play. I can't say he excites me much, but as I said if we were to hire him I'd back him 100%.

Look at what Navy was before he arrived. He has taken the same type of schedule and done better than any Navy coach since World War II. Then judge the job he has done. Also, 5-0 in THE rivalaly game with Army.

I didn't say he was a bad coach. Weatherly was by the way and deserved what he got. But winning at Navy with a quirky offense isn't the same as winning at a BCS school against better competition. Like I said, if we were to hire him, he'd be my guy. Just not real excited about what I see right now.
