Thoughts on the DOOK game?

I agree with others in that if we win the turnover battle, or at least "tie" it, then we should be fine. One thing we also need to avoid is giving up an early 10-0 lead. Granted, that's stating the obvious, but with the new clock rules + our tendency to run the ball so much, the clock will absolutely fly.

I think games are averaging about 20-25 less plays this year, overall. We ran something like 54 plays up at BC? That's not a lot of plays at all. All told, these games are considerably shorter making parity an even more common occurence.

That being said, if they do play with us or even beat us, which I don't expect at all, I don't think it will have anything to do with us not being ready to play. These kids haven't gotten to play in 2 weeks, after playing their best game. It's like when you go shoot your best score ever in golf, you can't wait to get back out there. We'll definitely be ready to play.
