Thoughts on UGAy...

So the way I see it there are 3 kinds of Tech fans:

1. The ones who hate UGAy and want to see them lose no matter who they are playing.

2. The ones who hate UGAy but want to see them do well EXCEPT when they play us so it looks good for us when we win (and keeps the rivalry significant).

3. Fags who aren't really Tech fans.

I am conflicted between the first two because while I love seeing the mutts lose I can't help but want it to be an accomplishment when we beat them. If UGA had losing seasons for 5 years in a row or something like that the rivalry would lose importance and GTs OOC would suddenly be looked at as weak.

Thoughts?
 
I'm a #1. I hate them with every ounce of my being. I hate their players, I hate their fans, I hate their retarded UGA the tenth or whatever the hell and his little "house" on the sidelines, I hate Sanford Stadium, I hate Athens, the only thing I like about UGAy is their skanky women. I like picking em up then sending them back to their loser redneck boyfriends when I'm done
 
I would fall under category number 1-
It wouldn't bother me if they lost every game....
this rivilary has the word hate in it for a reason!
 
I am a #1...

except maybe last year when they were preseason #1. I would have loved for them to be tasting that BCS Title Game only to have their dreams shattered by the Jackets in the last game of the regular season.

I see your point but do you want us to say "UGA isn't really a rivalry anymore" 10 years from now? I happen to enjoy my hatred and I would be very dissapointed if the GT fanbase's hatred fizzled out due to the epic fail of their football program.

Fixed it for you.

I don't know about the rest of you but beating Georgia will always feel good to me, be it the first time in seven years or the eleventh time in ten years(I threw in a bowl victory over them for good measure.) Do Florida fans still enjoy beating them?

And I can't even go to Athens to pick up their skanky women. Every time I get close to Athens I break out into hives. I am freak'n allergic to ugag. There is no cure other than stomping them into submission.

Would Florida fans enjoy beating them if Georgia was the worst team in the SEC? Probably not, they would have to Rival up with Tennessee or USCe or something. If I was forced to pick then I am a #1 too but I had some friends explain their #2 point of view and it makes sense.

I know Georgia's football team isn't gonna fall off the face of the Earth but if it did wouldn't you want a competitive rival?

I have heard many older fans say that they hated Notre Dame more than Georgia back in the day and how do you think the older mutts felt when their kids told them GT wasn't really a rival anymore (2007 and before of course)? All I know is I will never want to hate any team more than Georgia and if that means they have to win a couple games besides GT then so be it.

I would weep tears of pure joy if this happened. If I had a dream like this, I'd wake up excited in inappropriate ways. The only disappointing thing about UGA going 0-12 is that they wouldn't be able to go 0-13. I cannot think of a single scenerio in which I'd root for that cesspool.

I've said this before, but if Bruce Willis's team in Armageddon was UGA's football team, I'd pull for the comet.

But then how would you feel when every GT fan around you didn't care one bit about Georgia anymore? What if when the fight song was played everyone screamed "To Hell With Clemson!". What if when you said "What's the good word?" you heard "To Hell With Virginia Tech!" in response? That would be a sad sad day.

Would it? I don't hate UGA because I need someone to hate, I hate UGA because they're the scum of the Earth. I would love for my children to be born into a world free of UGA. They don't need to know of the absolute hatred that burns in my heart. The world would be a better place without that hate, and it would be a better place without Athens, Georgia.

Irrelevance of UGA means ultimate victory for us all.

I don't think they are either because Georgia aint gonna go 0-12 and they will still be competitive.

I know its not part of the original fight song for UGAy but Georgia fans used to say "To Hell With Georgia Tech" at the end of the song regardless of who they were playing. Now its "To Hell With (insert opponent here)". Traditions change.

Well I don't know about you but I will want my sons to say "To Hell With Georgia" like their daddy used to do.
