Thoughts on UGAy...

In case you haven't heard, we have a football coach that's got Damon Evans putting together a short list for his next football coach, as we speak. All the sprayed-on tanning lotion in Clarke County is not going to keep richt around much longer.
 
Let's see how that Defense holds up with 3 new inexperienced D Line starters. You were torched for big numbers with arguably 3 of the most talented D lineman tech has had in a some time.

Guys, he has a point. I mean, U[sic]GA isn't always going to be as bad on offense as they were last year. We barely beat them last year when we had three really talented D-Linemen and they had an inexperienced QB and a complete unknown running back. What are we going to do if they actually get some talent to play with?
 
I wouldn't call putting in 3 D lineman who have all had minuets in non-cleanup situations as new and inexperienced.
Also, lets not forget that as far as that game went, it was our young (all underclassman) and depthless (half the starters were 2nd stringers) secondary that got torched in that game. As far as pressure on the quarterback went, what it seems like happened was that we would rush with the linebackers most of the time cept because they weren't doing so well last year it was mostly ineffective.

Basically, and Georgia's offense learned this last year, 3 players can not win a series on offense or defense when the other 8 players aren't doing their job to the fullest. That's how you can have Stafford and Moreno and get shut out for 2 quarters against Bama and Florida (and one quarter against us).

As long as Willie Martinez isn't teaching our guys to tackle, I think we'll be OK.

Please, never ever fire Mark Richt or Willie, those guys are great.

It's posts like this that make last November's dog kicking all the sweeter. With CPJ at the helm, it will happen every year.

And by the way, size doesn't matter; it's what you do with it. While Tech is building a world-class program to match the world-class education, the Rev. Spray-tan is trying to figure out what the next gimmick is going to be that can continue to fool the dumb asses at that cow college.
