Interesting that most people who voted in the AJC uniform poll like the throwback uniforms (white helmet and pants, gold jersey) the best. I have to agree. Love the white helmets...
 
It's about even with traditional white shirt and gold pants.
 
When I voted, it was a big majority for the gold helmets, white jerseys and gold pants...interesting turn of events.
 
Please name me one great Tech team that wore those god-awful

looking "throwback" uniforms. Are we trying to resurrect the "glory" years of Bud Carson?
 
I think it was the '70 campaign. Obviously you weren't involved.
 
The traditional unis currently lead the "throwbacks" by 130 votes. I've got no problem with this. We wear our traditionals all the time and then throw in the throwbacks every other year or so.
 
I don't quite understand the appeal of white jerseys that look like every other team in the NCAA.

Our golds are eye catching and unique... the best looking jerseys in college football, says me. They get my vote!
 
That's the whole point for most people. Our white jerseys paired with our gold pants and gold helmet are very distinctive and good looking. Our white shirt uniforms look good enough to be anybody's uniform for any occasion.
 
Pretty much anything but the urine yellow jerseys we've been wearing is fine with me...including the new look jerseys that were being shown earlier this year.

The throwbacks were great. The 'mustard' gold was much more unique than the same gold as Vandy, Purdue, etc. Also, the shirts never match the gold helmets, so the throwbacks fixed that problem.
