In other news, Utah shoed that it's back, winning 49-0, because . . . Cam Rising is back after more than 600 days, with 5 TD passes in the first half before they brought in the subs. Brant Kuithe is also back after more than 700 days, with three TD receptions, the last one literally carrying four defenders across the goal line. Most folks don't know or remember that Kuithe was Utah's stud starting TE before getting injured early in 2022 and being replaced by his backup Dalton Kincaid, who was so good that he was a first round pick by Buffalo in the 2023 draft and caught 71 passes his rookie NFL season. And Kuithe was MUCH better than Kincaid before he was badly injured. If he is back even close to where he was . . . watch out, because Utah will almost certainly have the best defense in the defense-deprived Big 12.
