OK ONCE a year, but 2 is assinine.

I have yet to see evidence how this greatly enhances any program.

3 games in 12 days is idiotic as well. Our S/As deserve better. I heard the ACC made the schedule decision for us to have these 2tiar Th games. We should have told them to shove it, if true.

Colorado was silly for going to a road game to Toledo on a Friday night after a Sunday night game losing to CSU and getting utterly raped. Two games in six days same concepto.

Thursday night road games = death trap.

Let's agree to give ESPN the Atlanta skyline once a year and that be it. If they want Georgia Tech in the contract, then they can agree to not make 'em go on the road.

I love the Thursday night atmosphere... at GT.

The only thing this Thursday night game did for us was give us an excuse. The outcome of the game would have been no different had it been played on Saturday.

I do agree though - 1 Thursday night game a year... at GT.

Seems it would always be advantageous to play the season opener on Thursday night though, esp at home against lesser competition. Would never mind doing that, even if we did have another one on the schedule.

True.

Would we be saying this if we won both games? If we won both games handily, it would have given us some good exposure and likely would have put us in the top ten. Since that didn't happen, I have feeling it will knock us out of the top 25. It was a feast or famine type situation.

If possible, I think they should make the schedules where you have the equal preparation time for an inner-division game. Have your bye weeks and scheduling quirks against Atlantic division opponents or non-conf games. I think they should give teams in the same division that luxury, at least as close as possible.

No excuses, but GT played an entire extra game then Miami did in the same amount of time, minus 48 hours.

We are in the contract to host one every year, right? I think I read that somewhere we are supposed to get one a year. 2 a year... meh, I'll pass.

I don't think there is any contract or obligation for us to play any TNG.

I despise having to play 2 TNG during the same season (didn't we do this last year or year before?), but to make it a situation with 3 in 12 is the worst part. Our S/As deserve better.

I don't think it would change the outcome.

I just don't want our S/As put in that position.

DRADs first shortcoming IMO>

Once a year is enough --preferably 2 out of every 3 years @BDS, if not more.

I highly doubt that GT, or any ACC team, has that much clout in the conference to demand that.

I'm against the whole Thurs nite concept en todo. It doesn't make sense. It disrupts everything and it's clearly for the mass market media. **** OFF my college football! That's how I feel. College football should be played on Saturdays the way the good Lord intended.
