To Hell With ACC Refs

You have to be a decent team to get some calls steadily, we have been far from it, if we continue to get better, then some calls should swing in our direction ! Looks like we are trending up!!!!! Its a great sign of progress! GO JACKETS!!
True, but that doesn’t explain the calls on Duke’s last drive. Our defense had been shutting them down all game, and Duke is not Clemson. The open field tackle on Leonard was textbook. All our player did was finish a legal tackle. QBs with the ball are fsir game. Leonard released the ball just as he was being hit. Not a difficult no call.

I’d love to see CBK’s grading report on refs this week - even if he didn’t do it during postgame presser, bet he’ll tear them a new one in his report. Of course, the Puke coach will probably bitch about the OPI call in OT, forgetting how his team was essentially handed the tying TD minutes earlier.

CBK didn't want an ACC fine upwards of about $25K for criticizing the officials.... Mrs CBK didn't want an ACC fine upwards of about $25K for CBK criticizing the officials.... nor did Mama CBK want an ACC fine upwards of about $25K for CBK criticizing the officials

The state of north carolina can suck my dick. The ACC has far outlived its usefulness to us and we need to GTFO
Been saying this for years. Just wait till we play up in Chapel Hill. They’ll make sure it doesn’t come down to any where close to the end of the game. Expect multiple targeting calls on the guys in gold in the first half.

I wonder how much these schools pay refs, to alter games??? I am just curious if a change of career is in order.

The PI at the end of regulation where the Duke receiver just stopped his route and let the Tech defender run into him was totally bogus. Ball was essentially thrown OB and uncatchable.
I watched Bama, do almost the same play, with more contact. Yet, no flag was tossed.

He was being very careful to say they’d review the film first before any further statements. Questioner was baiting him to say something he’d regret. Was it Sugiura?

Bama had several, several, several plays last night with illegal man downfield. Some of their blockers were 5 yards downfield on some of the passes. Don't know if that was playcalling confusion, but I thought it odd refs just ignored it

Just watched it again. Duke had 3 block in the backs on the long punt return.

Our coverage was awful and the guys have to fight harder to not get blocked (even in the back) but still, the refs have to make that call.

And Carlson #90 saved the TD on the second return. A 290 lb-er stopped the speedy punt returner

This isn’t too obvious, is it? Like you said, at least three like this during Dukes TD punt return.

The game was fixed. Tech had an easy cover up 14. The officials controlled the game to a tie. And in overtime controlled the game so it ended up a vegas push to many who be the -3 line.

falcons game today was a fix too.
