Today's Scrimmage

I think youre talking about Preston Lyons #37. He did look good.

Lucas Cox played first team A-back most of the time.
Which reminds me...I hope Roddy and G Smith get healthy soon.

Preston Lyons is going to show to be a great pick-up for us. I'm shocked (but not really) that the other coach didn't offer him a scholly out of high school.

OK. But it wasn't #21 on the opening TD run. It may have been Dwyer wearing number 26 or so. I just don't care. Perhaps I was halllucinating. So there.

Come on guys. There's mile's difference, physically, between Dwyer and Allen.

Well according to everyone, and the official story from GTAA, you were hallucinating.

I guess the shade must've been in my eyes. Go figure. I was planning on posting a review BUT... I could have swore it was somebody other than 21...

Nice scrimmage on a beautiful day. GO JACKETS!!!

I wasn't there, but:

http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/sports/gatech/stories/2008/08/09/shaw_georgia_tech.html

"With the exception of B-back Jonathan Dwyer's 70-yard run on the second play, a beauty, most big offensive statistics were piled up by reserves — against reserves.
B-back Anthony Allen, who won't be able to play in a game until next season after transferring from Louisville, led all rushers with 105 yards on 17 carries, including a 57-yard run up the middle."

"Sophomore transfer Anthony Allen also had a strong day, leading all rushers with 105 yards on 17 carries. He also scored a 57-yard touchdown early in the scrimmage, when he took an option pitch from senior quarterback Calvin Booker."

gnats, maybe it was everyone else that was hallucinating after all.

read my earlier link to ramblinwreck.com... dwyer definely ran the first one and allen has one also...

They BOTH had long runs... Dwyer's was the 70 yarder though. I was there and watched a #21 jersey running right at me to score.

Good thing we are arguing "who scored the LONG rushing touchdown" because our Triple Option is coming along nicely and not arguing who is going to replace this coach because this is not working.
