What's the comparison to Kirk Ferentz (Iowa)? I feel like they fall off the map for a few years then make a run and he's been there a while. I don't have time to look for myself.

only 3 losing seasons and 2 were his first 2 at Iowa

That's a pretty good comparison, too. Very similar to CPJ overall.

It is kind of funny to see the really old Tech fans (and there are a lot of them) grind their teeth to the rap.

I usually don’t care much one way or the other except for competing with the band for playing time. Saturday seemed to be a whole different level though and was the first time I’ve really thought about the PA and how much it sucked. It was a bit much.

The vital fact that explains all the difference in opinion is that Ferentz's losing seasons were 20, 19, and 6 years ago. CPJ's two losing seasons were 1 and 3 years ago.
